HISTORY
YELLOW BALL LOGISTICS, INC. is a logistics provider that specializes in the transport and handling of oversized or overweight cargoes, otherwise known in the industry as project cargo/heavy transport/heavy lift.
The Company draws its operational and corporate strength from over 60 years of experience with YELLOW BALL FREIGHT LINES, INC., a trucking company founded by Atty. Tomas F. Gomez in 1948, and YELLOW BALL HEAVY LIFT, INC., a heavy lift specialist founded in 1996. Today, both are known in the country as pillars of the trucking and heavy lift industry.
The name of the Company was inspired by the “Yellow Ball” icon used by U.S. army trucks in the country shortly after World War II to denote the importance of delivering its cargo without delay. These trucks hauled ordnance and other related cargo. The symbol meant speed and quick delivery.
